  • WWE WrestleMania will take place in April
  • Big Show did not appear in WWE in 2019
  • Many believe that he will have some role in this month's Royal Rumble

World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) legend Big Show has expressed desire to get a fight in the upcoming WrestleMania event.

Big Show, who has been making part-time appearances since 2016, made a surprising return last weekend on WWE RAW, lining up with Samoa Joe and Kevin Owens against Seth Rollins and the Authors of Pain (AOP).

In an interview recently, Big Show opened up on how fighting in WrestleMania is “every competitor’s dream” and he would also like to bag one more match at the Show of Shows.

“That's every competitor's dream. I'd love to get one more in; especially because it's in Tampa, where I have a house, so I can drive home after the show,” the former champion added in his interview with ESPN.

The 47-year-old wrestler did not appear in the WWE in 2019 as he was busy shooting for his new Netflix show – "The Big Show". The show has been produced by the WWE Company and will be presented later this year. He also underwent five surgeries and the last two years, he said, were quite a “rough patch.”

“I've been chomping at the bit, actually. I was in a pretty rough patch in the last two years. I needed five surgeries in a year and a half. You're trying to do recovery therapy, and then there's a setback. It was very frustrating for me for a while. This opportunity came up, and I was blown away by it. Right fit, right time,” he added.

Speaking about how he felt when he returned to WWE this month, Big Show said, "But to walk into that locker room and look at the guys and know that I'm in the trenches with them again and being competitive, that's what did it for me."

Many believe that the seven-time champion will have some role in the year’s first Pay Per View (PPV) event – the Royal Rumble – as he is currently involved in a few high-profile feuds that are linked to several big starts on the WWE RAW.

The Royal Rumble, scheduled to take place on Jan. 27 at the Minute Maid Park in Houston, is the road to WrestleMania 36 that will be held on April 6 in Florida.
