When viewers tuned into “My 600-LB Life” Season 7, episode 18, they met 35-year-old Cillas Givens, whose bad eating habits threatened to take him away from his girlfriend, Jessica, and their children.

Cillas Weighed more than 700 pounds at the beginning of his episode, however, a Facebook update suggests the TLC subject has remained committed to his weight loss journey.

During his episode, the “My 600-LB Life” star revealed his weight caused him to lose his mobility and admitted he was afraid it would take him away from his family. Determined to take back control of his life, Cillas made the trip from Oklahoma to Houston to join Dr. Nowzaradan’s program.

Upon his arrival, Cillas was hospitalized because Dr. Now thought his life could be in danger due to his unhealthy weight. During his time in the hospital, Cillas was able to drop over 100 pounds and continued to lose weight from that point on.

By the end of his episode, Cillas was in the low 300s and from the looks of Jessica’s Facebook page, he has continued to shed the pounds. On Thursday, Jessica shared a heartfelt post thanking fans for their support after watching the episode.

In her post, Jessica called Cillas her husband, which means they married sometime after his episode. While Jessica’s page doesn’t list her location, Cillas’ Facebook page states he lives in Houston, which means he could still be a patient of Dr. Now.

On Sunday, Jessica shared a photo of herself and Cillas, who appeared to have a slimmer frame compared to what viewers saw in his episode.

Last month, Cillas shared a selfie, which earned him a compliment from a Facebook friend, who praised the progress he has made. Although Cillas’ episode is over, it appears the subject plans to continue his weight loss journey off-screen.

“My 600-LB Life” Season 7 airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. EDT on TLC.
