Wakana Gojou is passionate about traditional Hina dolls and he has a talent for sewing clothes for them. "My Dress-Up Darling" Episode 1 is set to bring Wakana and the prettiest girl in his class together as the former is asked to make cosplay outfits for her.

The official website has released the synopsis and spoiler stills of "My Dress-Up Darling" Episode 1. Wakana aspires to be a Hina doll artisan but he lacks the skills to make a beautiful face.

Interestingly, he has exceptional sewing skills. Later, he encounters the most popular girl, Marin Kitagawa, and shares a secret with her.

Marin is excited to see Wakana's work and asks if he is willing to sew cosplay outfits for her.

The cast of the anime includes Hina Suguta as Marin Kitagawa, Shoya Ishige as Wakana Gojou, Atsumi Tanezaki as Sajuna Inui and Hina Yomiya as Shinju Inui.

"My Dress-Up Darling," also known as "Sono Bisque Doll wa Koi wo Suru," is directed by Keisuke Shinohara. The anime is based on the original work by Shinichi Fukuda.

The series composition and scripting are by Yoriko Tomita, while the character design is by Kazumasa Ishida. The chief animation directors of the series are Jun Yamazaki, Shinpei Kobayashi, Kazumasa Ishida and Tomomi Kawatsuma.

The music for the series is composed by Takeshi Nakatsuka and Akiko Fujita is credited for sound direction. CloverWorks is producing the anime.

Fans in the U.S. can watch "My Dress-Up Darling" Episode 1 online on Funimation and Crunchyroll this Saturday. The episode will live stream in Japanese with English subtitles.
