The Paranormal Liberation War arc is at its peak as Gigantomachia rushes to his lord, Tomura Shigaraki. "My Hero Academia" Chapter 280 is set to showcase Shigaraki’s condition after battling Endeavor, Izuku Midoriya and other heroes.

The last few chapters focus entirely on Gigantomachia’s mission to meet Shigaraki and the heroes' attempt to stop him and the League of Villains. The spotlight will be back on Shigaraki and others fighting on the hospital battleground.

The latest spoilers shared by Twitter user Isla tease that Shigaraki is in a bad shape and she has speculated the fight with Endeavor, Midoriya and Bakugo to happen in the sidelines as the manga showcased Gigantomachia’s storyline.

Meanwhile, "My Hero Academia" Chapter 280 kicks off with the students on the ground to face Dabi’s lethal blast. As the fire spreads, the students check on each other. Kaminari has been badly injured after Dabi’s attack.

In the meantime, Mina decides to put the canister filled with sedatives inside Gigantomachia’s mouth. She has covered herself with acid and believes it will prevent the flames from burning her from the massive fire ignited by Dabi's attack.

Elsewhere, Mt. Lady, who is holding Gigantomachia’s mouth wide open, only to get thrown away by the giant villain.

Gigantomachia gets a message from Shigaraki that he must take the shortest path and reach the hospital battleground.

The upcoming chapter also features a one-page "My Hero Academia" Special Edition titled "Someone Else." It shows the students having a good time on the beach and Midoriya is seen holding Gang Orca’s jaw.

The official Twitter handle of Shonen Jump revealed "My Hero Academia" Chapter 280 is set to release Monday, Aug. 10 instead of Sunday, Aug. 9.

“Due to the Mountain Day holiday in Japan, most of the Sunday Shonen Jump chapters will come out Monday morning instead. Except for Spy x Family and Hell's Paradise: Jigokuraku, they will release on Sunday morning at their normal time,” Shonen Jump tweeted.

"My Hero Academia" Chapter 280 will be available online on Viz and Manga Plus.
