NASA’s Curiosity rover is perhaps one of the most effective equipment that has ever reached planet Mars.

The car-size space vehicle not only helps scientists back on Earth study Red Planet samples that could help determine the history of the planet but also find regions where possible life could thrive. The Curiosity plays a major role in the possibility of humans setting up colonies on Earth’s cousin and will prove to be instrumental in tracing back the history of the Solar System.

Aside from these helpful functions, the Curiosity rover has also brought back some of the most stunning snapshots of the alien planet. These photos have brought wonder, amazement and even instilled inspiration especially to scientific individuals who would one day want to travel outside of the Earth’s range.

These photos have also been subject to various scrutiny and theories, with alien enthusiasts and UFOlogists ceaselessly trying to find anything interesting that could help determine if there is indeed life outside of our planet.

We’ve heard of the most bizarre such as capturing a supposed snapshot of a bird flying around the Martian horizon. The supposed photo, which was reported by Mashable, was speculated to be shot from Earth. UFOlogist Scott Waring, who shares his views via the website ETDatabase, said that it might have been taken in Devon Island in Canada, a barren landscape which surface looks identical to Mars’ dry and dusty surface.

These visions were inspired by previous photos that actually show some odd details about the Red Planet. Back in 2015, conspiracy theories emerged when a photo is said to have revealed a humanoid creature seemingly walking on the surface of planet Mars. The photo has been shared and talked about in various conspiracy forums and was pointed out to be a woman wearing a flowy dress.

Not only that, some even suggested that the woman was on her way back to her house as suggested by what looked like a footpath leading to somewhere. In a report from CNET, a speaker from NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory said that they are aware of the figure in the picture and that it has actually been talked about several times within the confines of the U.S. space agency.

However, it was dismissed by easily by scientists from JPL. "It's really easy to pick out rocks or other things that look like something else in pictures like this," Guy Webster, who handled media requests from NASA related to Mars exploration, said in the report.

A closer look at the humanoid photo also revealed one photo that clearly showed the wheels of the Curiosity. Considering the size scaling of the object, it was determined that the actual “woman” measures no higher than a pebble.
