The Chicago Bulls of the 90s will always be remembered as one of the famed dynasties the NBA has had. Led by Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen, and Dennis Rodman, they were undeniably a team to reckon with before the Phil Jackson and Michael Jordan departed.

It was a domino effect from there with the Bulls tearing apart the team. Scottie Pippen was traded while Dennis Rodman was left unsigned. Winning 6 NBA titles in 8 years, most now wonder if the Bulls would have added a couple more or won titles each year.

In an interview with Rachel Nichols of ESPN, Pippen said that they could have won two more titles had the team stayed together. This included the shortened 50-game season in 1998-99. But six-time NBA champion believes they could have one at least another especially if they challenged themselves.

"I would have loved to have challenged ourselves to a point to where someone could defeat us," said Pippen.

A shortened season would have worked to the Bulls advantage back then, especially with the three main stars over the 33-year-old plateau. But accomplishing that would not be easy. They admitted that the Utah Jazz was a big thorn for them. Also, there were several teams on the rise such as the San Antonio Spurs led by the twin tower combo of David Robinson and Tim Duncan, Yahoo Sports reported.

With the Bulls out, it was the Patrick Ewing-led Knicks who rose in the Eastern Conference. But it was pretty clear that the Gotham-based squad had their work cut out for them against a bigger Spurs quintet. Could the Bulls have done better?

And most NBA fans who went on will agree that the competition just got tougher. Jordan may be an all-time great, same with Pippen and Rodman. But the fact remains that the game evolved and that Jackson's famed triangle offense may not hold up.

The Los Angeles Lakers are another team that eventually came to power. Continuing a rich winning tradition, the duo of Kobe Bryant and Shaquille O'Neal was likewise unstoppable. But like the Bulls, it came to a point where age and injuries factored in.

Frustration boiled over and the purple and gold needed a facelift. Bryant stood out and handed the Lakers two more titles (2009 and 2010). Ironically, the coach behind those Laker titles was Jackson - the same guy behind the six titles of the Bulls (1991 to 93 and 1996 to 98).
