Several top NBA players remain sidelined with injuries, including Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James.

James remains listed as "day-to-day" after suffering a groin injury against the Golden State Warriors on Christmas. An MRI revealed that James did not suffer a significant injury.

The Lakers were without James on Thursday and Friday — both losses to the Sacramento Kings and Los Angeles Clippers, respectively — and with an upcoming game Sunday against the Kings at Staples Center.

ESPN on Thursday reported that James could miss several games.

Meanwhile, James' Lakers teammate, Rajon Rondo, will be out at least a month after undergoing surgery Friday on his right ring finger.

Other notable players have also been hit by the injury bug.

Washington Wizards head coach Scott Brooks said on Friday that star point guard John Wall will see a specialist about a left heel injury, according to the Associated Press. Brooks wouldn't speculate about the severity of Wall's injury.

Wall, who missed a game on Dec. 10 with the heel injury, sat out the Wizards' 101-92 loss to the Chicago Bulls. The 28-year-old has missed four games this season.

Kings star rookie Marvin Bagley III will be held out of basketball activities for at least two more weeks due to a bone bruise in his left knee, according to reports. A recent MRI showed no structural damage.

Bagley, the No. 2 overall pick in the NBA draft, suffered the injury on Dec. 14 in a game against the Warriors on Dec. 14. He has missed seven games.

The 19-year-old is a Rookie of the Year candidate, averaging 12.7 points and 6.1 rebounds per game.
