KEY POINTS

  • Lebron James is still in top shape in his 17th year in the league
  • Lebron James has a lot of influence in each team he's in
  • The LA Lakers management have had a great relationship so far with Lebron James

Lebron James is one of the best players we have in the league today. He entered the NBA as the first pick of the 2003 draft as one of the hottest prospects out of high school. The six-foot-eight LA Laker to this day continues to electrify every arena he steps foot in. With his influence and leadership ability, it’s crucial to be able to get on his good side.

The King has been said to dictate what he wants to see in the team. It’s joked before that he’s actually the team captain, the coach, and the general manager of his franchise. A pivotal moment is when his influence got the former number one overall pick Anthony Davis to jump from New Orleans to the LA Lakers.

Given that he’s the one leading the team on the floor and off the floor with recruitment decisions, it’s important that his relationship with the front office is clean. As reported by Silver Screen and Roll, Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports shared that Lebron James has been the most comfortable he’s been with an NBA front office. “Lebron James is getting even more comfortable being a Los Angeles Laker, and he told me the connection with the front office and ownership group is the best he’s had in his NBA career.”

He has been with different teams already throughout his career. He started as an 18-year-old prodigy of the Cleveland Cavaliers and led them to the Finals but wasn’t able to get over the hump. He jumped to the Miami Heat where he won two NBA titles with the big three of him, Chris Bosh and Dwyane Wade. He later went back to the Cavaliers to finally win a title for the city of Cleveland.

He’s now in his second year, as a member of the Purple and Gold and the season is looking better than it was last year. Injuries have been a minimum and the talent is tremendously different from the addition of Anthony Davis. With the good relationship Lebron James has with the front office and the chemistry building on the floor, the LA Lakers are aiming to win it all in this season’s playoffs.
