At the rate things are going right now for the Golden State Warriors, some feel that they can go all the way even with Kevin Durant and DeMarcus Cousins in the sidelines. The Dubs have so far been successful through the efforts of Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green but there are some who believe that having a full roster is still a must.

And someone who believes that the Warriors need Durant and Cousins in the fray is Green’s mother. Mary Babers-Green said on social media that the Dubs are doing what they have to so that they can make it to the end. Regardless, she stressed that they still need @KDTrey5 and @boogiecousins and shared something similar to the take of her son who said that it was idiotic to think that they do not need these players, The Athletic reported.

Durant has been listed as doubtful for games one to four of the NBA Western Conference final and the former NBA MVP could be cleared in time for the NBA Finals which is expected to begin on May 30, NBA.com reported. The 30-year-old NBA star has been sidelined since game 5 of the Western Conference Finals against the Houston Rockets after suffering a strained calf. As of this writing, there is no mention on when KD would be returning.

Cousins, on the other hand, is reportedly closer to making his return. The temperamental big man is recuperating from torn left quadriceps but is allegedly inching closer to a return. In fact, Warriors head coach Steve Kerr says that the 28-year-old NBA star could be returning before Durant to the lineup, Yahoo Sports reported.

The Warriors are on the brink of sweeping the Portland Trail Blazers with another win on Monday. Unless the Blazers are able to come up with something to offset Curry, Thompson, and Green, the Dubs could be advancing to the NBA Finals anew against either the Milwaukee Bucks or the Toronto Raptors. The Bucks lead the NBA Eastern Conference Finals, 2-1.

Game 4 of the Golden State vs. Portland series will also be interesting with several players also bothered by injuries. Damian Lillard admitted that he is playing with a rib injury, while Warriors veteran Andre Iguodala is also questionable due to a calf injury. A Warriors’ sweep could work to the Dubs favor, allowing them to rest their battered stars some time to heal as well.
