Aside from Kemba Walker, there are other top free agents in the market that could fit well with Anthony Davis and the current Lakers roster.

Now that Anthony Davis is officially out in the free agency market, league sources turn their heads to the next possible move the Lakers will make this offseason. Since LA has already sealed a versatile big man, it is highly expected that the team may look for a supporting cast that can play well with LeBron James and Davis.

It has been speculated lately that Hornets star Kemba Walker is the next target of the Purple and Gold. However, Walker has let the NBA know recently that he would take less just to stay with Hornets. With that Walker statement hanging in the air, sources have analyzed other options for LA, especially now that Davis has just helped the team free up some cap space to land another max level free agent.

According to Daily Memphian, now that Davis is already out, Mike Conley is currently the most significant player who is very likely to be traded this summer. However, there has been no solid indication that the Grizzlies star is actually available in the market thus far.

Sources believe that Lakers would need a versatile backcourt to join James and Davis and Conley makes a perfect candidate.

Conley has proven that he belongs in the category of NBA’s elite veteran guards.

There are two things to make a Lakers-Conley deal work, first, is enough cap room for Conley and more importantly, a confirmation that the Grizzlies point guard is open to be traded.

Marcus Morris is another top free agent currently viewed as a perfect fit for the Lakers next season. It is already given that LA has an array of superb talents in their roster but sources believe that the team would need a consistent performer especially during off and cold shooting nights.

Last season, Morris was one of the most consistent players in the stacked Celtics team. With an average of 13.9 points per game and 6.1 rebound per game under 44.7 percent accuracy, the services of Morris is believed to be vital for Lakers next season.

Morris can be a combination of front-court player but is best suited at power forward position, a role that could support Kyle Kuzma, Clutch Points noted.

The Lakers are on the hot seat since the Davis massive deal and are expected to remain a hot subject all throughout the summer.
