NBA headlines have been plagued by Anthony Davis trade talk, and of course, the recent blockbuster deal involving Kristaps Porzingis. As anticipated, player movement is expected to reach a feverish pitch at this point as the Feb. 7 trade deadline nears.

Going beyond Davis and Porzingis, there are plenty of other names that could be moving to new teams by next week. Curiously, there are two names that have yet to be embroiled in potential trades -- D'Angelo Russell of the Brooklyn Nets and Aaron Gordon of the Orland Magic.

Russell has been making headlines recently with his jaw-dropping scoring splurges. He dropped 40 against the Magic and has so far held averages of 23.2 points and 7.2 assists. His shooting percentages are also off the charts, shooting 49.2 percent and making 43.3 percent of his 3-pointers. This has so far been the best performance of the second overall pick of the 2015 NBA draft.

A potential departure of Russell could stem from the fact that he is set to become a restricted free agent this summer. Also, the Nets have three playmakers onboard with Spencer Dinwiddie and Caris LeVert. Russell failed to make it to the All-Star team as a reserve, giving him all the more reason to improve his game, CBS Sports reported.

With salary budget and rotation in mind, the Nets could get some inquiries on Russell's availability. However, interest from other teams will depend on how consistent he remains moving forward. Teams in need of a point guard could consider him, the ones ramping up for the postseason wars.

In the case of Aaron Gordon, teams may get interested due to his versatility. He can do almost anything on both ends of the court and is in the middle of one of his most efficient NBA seasons thus far, the Orlando Sentinel reported. He does hold a hefty four-year $80 million contract but seems to be worth every penny. Teams who could use him include the Nets, Portland Trail Blazers, Utah Jazz or even the Dallas Mavericks.

Russell and Gordon may not be mentioned much, but that does not mean they are not being tracked by other teams. They are players who have made quite an impression thus far, all the more reason why some teams may come knocking at the footsteps of the Nets or the Magic.
