Is NeNe Leakes Returning To ‘Real Housewives Of Atlanta? Star Denies Being Fired

NeNe Leakes may have had a tough time getting along with her castmates throughout “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” Season 12, but that doesn’t mean she has been fired from the show.

Amid NeNe’s ongoing tension with the cast, there have been rumors that she was fired from the Bravo series. However, the 52-year-old and her rep were quick to address the reports suggesting she would not return to the cast for “RHOA” Season 13.

On Wednesday night, NeNe appeared to laugh off the rumors by tweeting several laughing emojis. NeNe also took to Instagram to share a photo of herself laughing. “I can’t chileeeeeeee,” she captioned the post.

By Thursday, NeNe appeared to take a more serious approach when addressing her followers on Twitter. “I promise I’ll be the first to tell you myself! Thanks you for the love,” she tweeted.

NeNe’s manager also dismissed the rumors that the Swagg boutique owner was fired from the Bravo series in a statement to E!

“It is absolutely not true that NeNe has been fired from RHOA. Furthermore, it was made abundantly clear prior that she will always be welcome on the series as long as she wants to be. We are having on-going bigger picture conversations with NBC Universal and have not made any decisions regarding next season specifically,” the rep said.

“Any speculation or sources trying to create controversy by stating otherwise are incredibly inaccurate.”

Rumors suggesting NeNe was fired from the “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” comes a month after the star told People that she was unsure about whether she would be returning to the series.

“I don’t know. I just don’t know. I got back and forth with it every day. I feel like it’s a big conversation I need to have with the network and with production. Because if they value their talent in some sort of way, then we need to talk. We need to come up with some sort of compromise here,” she said.
