Netflix just released the trailer of "He's All That", a modern update on the 1999 hit teen flick “She’s All That,” starring TikTok superstar Addison Rae.

The gender-flipped remake comes out on Netflix on Aug. 27 and also stars 22-year-old “Cobra Kai” star Tanner Buchanan as the love interest of Rae’s character in the film.

In the movie, Rae plays the role of Padgett Sawyer, an aspiring beauty influencer who takes up the challenge of turning the least popular boy in her high school, Cameron Kweller (Buchanan), into prom king. Sawyer was moved to take on the challenge after finding out that her boyfriend, played by 22-year-old actor Peyton Meyer, was cheating on her that led to a humiliating viral on-camera breakup.

As a school outcast, Buchanan’s character in the film is described as "a total disaster,” "weird" and "antisocial," according to E! News.

As prom night approaches, Sawyer finds out that she and Kweller have totally different approaches to style as she tries to transform the “weird guy” into prom king. But as expected, the two fall in love along the transformation process.

“He’s All That” is helmed by “Mean Girls” director Mark Waters. “She’s All That” original lead Rachel Leigh Cook also makes an appearance in the new film as Sawyer’s mother.

“He’s All That” is also the movie debut of “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” star Kourtney Kardashian who plays the role of Sawyer’s older and wiser friend.

Earlier in December, Kardashian posted an Instagram photo where she appears to be studying her role in the film. The post received over 1.4 million likes from fans who approved of her cameo appearance in the film.

According to E! News, Kardashian has become very close with 20-year-old Rae this year but “He’s All That” might just be the best of their collaborations. The report also compiled photos of the two stars partying, shopping, and enjoying themselves on beach trips.

Last October, Kardashian called the Tiktok star an “angel” in her birthday greeting for Rae on Instagram.

“Everyone wish a happy happy birthday to this angel @addisonraee (A real friendship reel ),” she had posted. The short clip was viewed over 10 million times by fans who adore their close friendship despite the wide age gap.
