Enes Kanter of the New York Knicks is best known for trying to physically engage on the basketball court. At 6-foot-11, the NBA player could eventually explore other options, including the possibility of becoming a WWE superstar.

Kanter recently appeared on a segment together with WWE stars Dana Brooke and Curt Hawkins. Admittedly a WWE fan, the set was on an actual ring where anyone would suspect something wrestling-related was going to happen. And something spectacular did happen, with Hawkins pushing Kanter to start an impromptu match.

With most aware of how the WWE mixes entertainment with pro-wrestling, it seems Kanter was given the chance to show off his skills. And based on the video footage of that segment, the 26-year-old may have given a great audition for the WWE with an impressive-looking chokeslam on Hawkins, who has not won a match in two years, Ringside News reported.

Although some knew that this was a scripted segment, Kanter did manage to give a good account for himself. Could Vince McMahon consider Kanter as a guest performer or even a permanent one once the Turkish basketball player calls it a career?

That may take some time for Kanter, who remains one of the blue-collar workers in the NBA. This is despite swirling rumors that he could be dealt off soon and that he is likely to be picked up by any team.

There are rumors of Kanter potentially being a player getting traded by the February deadline. The reason behind it is the team's plans moving forward, Bobby Marks of ESPN said. The Knicks may be planning to do some free-agent shopping, but would need to clear up some cap space in the process. The impending free agent has a $27.9 million cap hold, and the only clear path for New York to create max room would be to renounce Kanter or let him walk in the summer.

Kanter currently has an $18.6 million deal with the Knicks, opting to remain in New York in the offseason. He has sent feelers of wanting to remain in Gotham, but all this depends on the direction that the franchise is headed to.

There are plenty of trade scenarios for Kanter looking ahead. It is likely to become a multiplayer trade and depend on the assets that New York would be interested in. Clutchpoints.com believes the Knicks will likely want liquid assets or a future pick in exchange.
