There have been significant changes in the Super Bowl 2020 odds for a few NFL teams over the course of the offseason. Some of those odds have shifted dramatically between the height of free agency and the conclusion of the draft.

The Dallas Cowboys and New York Giants are at the top of that list. Dallas’ Super Bowl odds have gone from 33/1 to 25/1 at BetOnline since March 18. New York has inexplicably seen their title odds go from 80/1 to 50/1 in that time.

The Giants have probably received more criticism than any team for the way they drafted. New York seemingly reached for Duke quarterback Daniel Jones with the sixth overall pick, passing on Ohio State's Dwayne Haskins, who went to the Washington Redskins. The Giants did have three first-round picks.

New York also traded Odell Beckham Jr. this offseason.

The Cowboys didn't have a first-round pick because of last year's Amari Cooper trade. Dallas wasn't a big spender in free agency. They re-signed defensive end Demarcus Lawrence and traded for defensive end Robert Quinn.

Neither the Cowboys nor the Giants have the same expectations as the Kansas City Chiefs. Behind MVP Patrick Mahomes, Kansas City was an overtime-loss short of reaching the 2019 Super Bowl.

A little over a month ago, the Chiefs had 8/1 Super Bowl odds, making them the favorites along with the New England Patriots. Those odds have since dropped to 10/1, putting them behind New England and the Los Angeles Rams (9/1).

A lot has changed in Kansas City over the last few months. Defensive starters Justin Houston, Dee Ford and Eric Berry are gone. The Chiefs dealt their first-round pick in a trade for defensive end Frank Clark.

The status of wide receiver Tyreek Hill is up in the air, though it’s looking like Mahomes might need a new No.1 target next season. According to ESPN, Hill could be added to the commissioner's exempt list after being accused of child abuse.

Hill wasn't charged with a crime, but Johnson County District Attorney Steve Howe has reopened the investigation into an incident that left Hill’s three-year-old son with a broken arm.

Hill and running back Kareem Hunt helped the Chiefs earn the AFC's best record last season. Hunt was released during the 2018 season after a video of him shoving and kicking a woman surfaced.
