Nikki Bella And John Cena Gush Over Engagement On Twitter After WrestleMania 33 Proposal

For Nikka Bella and John Cena, Wrestlemania 33 was more than just a victory in the ring. The couple, who are fan favorites in the WWE universe, got engaged in front of more than 70,000 screaming fans after defeating The Miz and his wife Maryse Mizanin on Sunday night.

On Monday, the newly engaged wrestlers reflected on the memorable moment on Twitter. “My Prince Charming made me his Queen in a place we call home. Last night was truly unforgettable. A dream come true!” Bella wrote.

Attached to the tweet were several pictures featuring moments from the couple’s engagement. Cena also expressed joy over the pair’s engagement following their match. The wrestler thanked the WWE for their contribution to the epic moment.

Bella also posted a video of the couple to Twitter, which Cena later retweeted. The video features Bella and Cena prior to their appearance on the “Today” show. In the video, the wrestlers ask fans to tune into the ABC morning show while also showing some PDA.

Bella can be seen flashing her engagement ring and looking thrilled that the two are finally getting married. The “Total Bellas” star wrapped her arm around her future husband and Cena and gave her a kiss on the cheek twice.

Although the couple has been dating for almost five years, Cena has previously expressed that he was hesitant about getting married on episodes of “Total Divas.” However, it is clear that the wrestler has had a change of heart and is excited about tying the knot with his longtime girlfriend.
