The family of Michael Jackson on Wednesday announced that contrary to previous reports, the singers body will not be available for public viewing at the starts Neverland home.

Contrary to previous news reports, the Jackson family is officially stating that there will be no public or private viewing at Neverland, says a Jackson family statement. Plans are underway regarding a public memorial for Michael Jackson, and we will announce those plans shortly.

Details of Jackson's funeral have still not been made public, according to reports from PEOPLE the King of Pop's family had requested that the star be buried in his former Neverland home.

The family was however not able to obtain a residential exemption required for a burial on private property, PEOPLE reported.

Jackson's will does not specify how he wanted to be laid to rest, this has left many speculating where he will be buried or if he will be cremated.
