North West Vogue Cover? Kanye West Wants Baby To Debut In Magazine But Anna Wintour Allegedly Unimpressed

Kanye West wants his daughter North to debut on the cover of fashion’s most elite magazine—Vogue. However, that may be problematic, as it has been reported for years that Vogue Editor-in-Chief Anna Wintour does not like West’s girlfriend, Kim Kardashian due to her reality television background.

She allegedly even denied Kardashian access to attend the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute Benefit gala in previous years. The new mother was able to attend this year as West’s date. But then Kardashian was obviously cropped out of a picture when the fashion site made a “Best Dressed” list, showing that Wintour likely still has a distaste for the curvaceous celebrity.

While the exclusive photo of North may boost Vogue’s magazine sales, Wintour is “less than enthusiastic” about the idea. "He knows what he wants — a professional photographer and the cover of Vogue – nothing else,” a source told RadarOnline about West. “But clearly, trying to persuade Anna is going to be an uphill battle.”

Kardashian and West welcomed their baby daughter to the world June 15 in one of the most highly anticipated celebrity pregnancies of the year. The couple has yet to share pictures of the newborn, whom sources say is the spitting image of her reality-TV-star mother. The 32-year-old has reportedly stated that North will not be featured on “Keeping Up With The Kardashians.” However, it is still very likely that the Kardashians, who are known for being in the spotlight and sharing intimate details of their lives, will have no problem sharing the first image of the baby girl on the cover of a magazine such as Vogue.

How much could the much-anticipated photos sell for? “The first images of Kim’s baby could sell for as much as $3 million,” an editor-in-chief of a weekly told the Huffington Post. But don't worry, Kardashian and West won't starve. “Just like she did on her wedding, Kim will be able to make money from TV specials, gifts, baby showers and baby parties,” the source said. Kardashian reportedly earned $18 million from her televised wedding last August to NBA player Kris Humphries.
