Singer Olivia Rodrigo announced that she’ll be dropping a brand new single called “deja vu” on Thursday, April 1, but warns fans that it’s not an April Fools hoax.

The 18-year-old dropped her viral song earlier this year, which stayed on Billboard’s Hot 100 at No. 1 for eight weeks in a row and even broke a Spotify record for most streams in a single week, coming in at over 65 million, CBS News reported.

This announcement comes just a few days after she deleted all the photos on her Instagram page and started posting random GIFs and videos, leaving followers and fans at a loss, until her announcement Monday.

The internet has shared their excitement and can’t wait to see what’s in store after the success of her last hit single.

She also stars in “High School Musical: The Musical: The Series” that just announced the official renewal for a second season. No date has been released yet for the premiere on Disney+, but Season 1 is available to watch on the streaming platform now.
