Luffy vows to defeat Kaido after the recent setbacks in "One Piece" Episode 1028. The new episode is titled "Surpass the Emperor of the Sea! Luffy Strikes Back with an Iron Fist!"

The official promo trailer of Episode 1028 shows Luffy holding the thoughts of his injured allies in his heart. He is enraged and announces that he will live up to the promises he made to the samurai he met in the past.

He attempts to move past Kaido as the battle continues. Luffy will use his fist to smash the face of the Emperor of the Sea.

In the previous "One Piece" episode, titled "Defend Luffy! Zoro and Law’s Sword Technique!" Big Mom fell from Onigashima and she called for help from Zeus.

However, he was unable to appear to help Big Mom. Zeus was trying to escape from Kid. Meanwhile, Law and Kid were watching Big Mom’s desperate attempts, they announced the sea will end Big Mom.

As soon as she hit the waters, she started drowning and tried to reach out to Prometheus, who was being followed by Zoro. Meanwhile, Napolean tried to help Big Mom but he was stopped by Killer.

Elsewhere, Kaido was staring down at Luffy who was down and out in a crater. The villain attacked Zoro but Law appeared and managed to save him.

During the episode, Zoro started using the Nine Sword Style as he advanced toward Kaido. He even managed to block one of Kaido’s attacks. Zoro then launched Ashura Bakkei – Moja no Tawamure and was able to injure Kaido.

“Even after Big Mom was pushed off of the island, Zoro and the others keep fighting the exhausting battle against Kaido. When Kaido tries to beat up the unconscious Luffy, Zoro launches an all-out attack at the risk of his life,” read the official synopsis of Episode 1027, as per Crunchyroll.

"One Piece" Episode 1028 is scheduled to air Saturday. Fans in the U.S. can watch the episode online on Crunchyroll, Hulu, Apple TV, Netflix and Tubi. The anime will live stream in Japanese with English subtitles.

The anime is based on the original story by Eiichiro Oda.
