Chinese smartphone maker OnePlus has teased that it will be announcing something tomorrow. Based on the company’s recent activity on its social media pages, it’s being speculated that it will announce a blue version of the OnePlus 3T.

OnePlus changed its account photos on its Facebook and Twitter pages from its signature red logo to a new blue colored logo. It then shared a photo showing the date 3/15/17 while also announcing what appears to be a partnership with the fashion accessory retailer, Colette Paris.

Due to the color motif that OnePlus is teasing, speculations are going around that the company might release a blue color option for the OnePlus 3T. If true, this would be similar with Samsung’s strategy of releasing a “blue coral” version of the Galaxy S7 Edge.

A blue color option is slowly becoming a lot more popular recently. Samsung did it first with the blue coral option for the now-discontinued Galaxy Note 7, then Google released the Pixel and Pixel XL with the “really blue” model. The OnePlus 3T is currently only available in soft gold and gunmetal grey color options.

Another possibility is that Colette Paris might simply be releasing exclusive accessories for the OnePlus 3T. After all, Colette is a fashion accessory maker and that particular shade of blue is the company’s signature color. This won’t actually be the first time that OnePlus has partnered with the brand either.

Back in 2015, Colette and OnePlus actually collaborated for the OnePlus 2 and the OnePlus X. Both devices were made available at a flash sale event at Colette’s boutiques, as pointed out by GSM Arena.

Since this appears to be a another collaboration between the two companies, whatever OnePlus is working on will most likely be exclusive to Colette’s stores. Unfortunately, there are no indications that it will be announcing the much rumored OnePlus 5.
