Oprah Gives Twitter Follower Her Designer Gown From Essence's March Cover

Forget the shirt off her back. Oprah recently gave one Twitter follower an even more luxurious piece from her wardrobe.
The Atlanta woman, named Brandi on her account, was so smitten with the gown Oprah wore on the March cover of Essence that she asked media mogul if she would consider giving her the gown. In a tweet to Oprah, she let her know how much she loved the Brian Rennie for Basler dress and mentioned that it could find renewed life in her own closet.
To Brandi’s delight, the message paid off. Oprah eventually tweeted her back, directing her to get in contact with her assistant about her inquiry.
@snobaby28 you're right I won't wear ever again contact my asst. and show her this tweet.

A week later, the Atlanta woman posted a jubilant tweet saying she had received the dress. She added that she has some major plans for the gown, but they require her to first find a Mr. Right.

Regardless of that one missing link, though, it must be nice to know her future wedding dress was passed down from the Mighty O!
