Paris Hilton Faces Backlash For 'That's Hot' Comment On Millie Bobby Brown's Instagram

Reality show star and Hollywood socialite Paris Hilton commented on 15-year-old “Stranger Things” star Millie Bobbie Brown’s Instagram photo with her signature catchphrase “That’s hot” on Tuesday. Her move was followed by some backlash from Brown’s fans, questioning the appropriateness of her comment.

Actress Evan Rachel Wood was among those notably upset by the comment, calling Hilton, 38, out on social media. “She’s 15,” Wood, 32, commented in response, to which many users immediately took sides either defending or confronting Hilton. There were some who did not appreciate the "Westworld" actor's input, however, reminding her that “That’s hot” has always been Hilton’s legitimately trademarked catchphrase.

According to Us Weekly, one person called out Hollywood as a whole, saying, “finally seeing someone in this industry standing up for this girl.”

This isn’t Brown’s first time dealing with bad comments. In January, she posted a picture that garnered quite a bit of attention from her followers, many of which told her to “act her age,” according to Teen Vogue.

The Netflix star stood up for herself in a comment that read "ik everyone on my last pic wants me to 'act my age' but quite frankly its my instagram and if I choose to post that picture and you don’t like it… scroll past it)."

While Brown has stood up for herself in the past, it appears some commenters on the offending post appreciated Wood's ever-vigilant internet presence. Wood is well-known for using her platform for calling out toxic behavior. The actress recently sat down with Self magazine to discuss her platform and how she uses it to reach out to women. She has also spoken publicly on many occasions as a feminist and an advocate of violence and assault survivors.
