Paula Abdul got candid about her TikTok experience and what she did to give back to her childhood dance teacher.

The legendary dancer and choreographer spoke with Entertainment Tonight recently about the fun she's having on TikTok. She has tons of entries on the social media app with thousands of views each. The "Masked Dancer" judge has also amassed over 418.3K followers and 1.6 million likes on the platform.

"It's been so much fun! Doing these TikToks has been like an added bonus of joy, fun and laughter," the 59-year-old performer told ET. "I am working with a lot of really talented young people, who are natural-born directors and editors."

She added that for her content, she has been collaborating with "incredible" young kids who are taking over TikTok and social media. She noted that dancing together benefits both parties.

"Them learning a dance from me has been such a treat," she said. "And them teaching me, it has just been a blast. I have been having a lot of fun."

Abdul's most recent entry on TikTok is a dance collab with dancer, actress and model Sharlize True and her sister Shariah True.

"Are we through to Hollywood?...comment if you see it!" she wrote in the caption.

Abdul has been tagged as the "queen of TikTok." Her fans and followers always shower her dance videos with compliments.

"You are ten times better than anyone else you dance with!" one commented.

"Always the best moves. love this," another added.

Meanwhile, Abdul also talked about her efforts in giving back to her childhood dance teacher Dean Barlow. She recently surprised him by renovating his Los Angeles-based recreation center for an all-new episode of "Secret Celebrity Renovation."

"Dean Barlow has been such the fabric of my life. From the time I was seven and a half until now, he's been in my life," she said. "You have your father, and then you have your TV father -- Gene Kelly, that was my TV dad -- and then the next closest, like, male figure in my life was Dean Barlow."

She added that Barlow means so much to her, her sister and probably to every single person in the San Fernando Valley who has taken a dance lesson from him. She added that Barlow has been part of her career as he would come in and choreograph the tap sections of her music videos.

Abdul is hosting CBS' "Secret Celebrity Renovation." She said that the role is perfect for her because it's in her "DNA" to give back.

"Just to do anything to help people live the best version of themselves, or achieve dreams that they never believed can come true, [is amazing]," she added.
