Pet Dog Saves Owner From Attempted Abduction, Incident Caught On Camera

A pet dog was caught on camera saving his owner from a kidnapping attempt by attacking the miscreants.

The incident took place in the central Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. The entire episode was caught on camera. The 3-minute clip begins with the men arriving in a white car, and stopping outside the victim's house. They then call out to him, following which the victim, identified as Nitin, steps out of his residence. The group then get into an intense argument with him before starting to beat him up. They then attempt to force him into the car, during which Nitin’s dog, a German Shepherd, bursts out of the residence barking and saves his owner’s life by attacking all assailants one after the other, India Today reported. The assailants are then left with no choice but to leave the victim and flee the scene.

After the incident, Nitin filed a police complaint. An investigation was underway and a search was on for the accused.

German Shepherds are large, agile, and muscular dogs that are known to be gentle family pets and loyal guardians. The breed, which is one of America’s most popular dog breeds, also goes by the name Alsatian and makes an excellent guard dog, police dog and military dog.

This is not the first time a German Shepherd has saved the life of its owner. Earlier this week, passers-by on the Interstate 89 highway in Vermont spotted a canine and alerted the state troops. When the officers tried to approach the canine after arriving at the scene, she darted back down the road. The dog led the officers to a section of the highway where her owner had crashed his car. The owner was found lying on the ground with severe injuries after having been ejected from the car. Medics were called to the scene and the owner’s life was saved.

In another incident, a German Shepherd saved his owner from a stalker in the United Kingdom in November last year. Lorraine Scott was out with the canine when a stranger started following her. Luckily, the dog came to her rescue. He started viciously barking at the stalker, making him run away from the scene.
