“Picture a Perfect Christmas,” starring Merritt Patterson and Jon Cor, premieres on Hallmark Channel tonight as part of the network’s 2019 Countdown to Christmas event.

Patterson, who played Ophelia on “The Royals,” starred in Hallmark’s “Forever in My Heart” earlier in 2019, as well as “Christmas at the Palace” in 2018, amongst a few other Hallmark movies.

Meanwhile, the “Shadowhunters” alum was in Hallmark Movies & Mysteries’ “Picture Perfect Mysteries: Newlywed and Dead” earlier this year and in “Love on Safari,” with Lacey Chabert, last year. This is Cor’s first Hallmark Christmas movie.

According to the “Picture a Perfect Christmas” synopsis, the movie follows as “Sophie Griffith’s (Patterson) photography career is really taking off, yet she cannot seem to find the same kind of success and fulfillment in her personal life. While visiting her grandmother in Bainbridge Island in Seattle’s Elliott Bay, Sophie agrees to be a temporary nanny to the nine-year-old boy living next door and discovers unlikely romance with the orphan’s uncle-guardian.
