Pippa Middleton was recently spotted hanging out with her father-in-law, David Matthews, for the first time since he was involved in a scandal.

Last weekend, Middleton and Matthews had tea together alongside her husband, James Matthews, and mother-in-law Jane in West London. Kate Middleton’s younger sister was photographed with a cup of tea in her hand while talking to her husband’s parents.

Her sighting with Matthews came just four months after it was revealed that he is being investigated by French authorities over rape allegations. Matthews has since denied the claims.

In related news, Middleton is expected to give birth to her first child sometime in October. Rumors recently swirled that she and James will be having a boy. This was after royal fans took notice of the fact that Middleton has been wearing blue during her recent outings. In fact, she was once again wearing a blue floral dress when she had tea with her husband’s family.

Isabella Sullivan, a journalist for Express, wrote, “Pippa’s choice of dress color is becoming a theme as of late, being spotted wearing baby blue at the christening of her nephew Prince Louis and again at Wimbledon last month. She was also spotted at one of her first public appearances after announcing her pregnancy wearing a deep blue jumpsuit. Just months away from her due date, Pippa could be hinting at the sex of the baby, with expectant mothers able to tell the sex of their baby after their mid-term scan.”

Meanwhile, the Duchess of Cambridge may skip Princess Eugenie’s wedding on Oct. 12 if this will also be the day that her sister will give birth. Francesca Specter, a journalist for Express, thinks that this will be the case before the Middleton siblings are close to each other.

When Kate gave birth to her three children, Middleton visited her at St. Mary’s Hospital’s Lindo Wing.
