The “Fairy Tail” RPG producer added that with the PlayStation 5, titles would need to discover new ways to enable downtime during gameplay just to maintain the right game’s pacing. Kikuchi explained that the unnecessary loading times would be eliminated, and the variety of depictions will be maximized, including cinematics that could go to and fro between several scenes. When it comes to the AMD custom CPU of the PS5, the game producer shared that it is expected to deliver more natural environment depictions, far more believable world, and realistic settings.

While the producer did not mention during the interview what games his company is working on for Sony’s PlayStation 5, the next-generation console is expected to feature backward compatibility, making “Fairy Tail” RPG a playable title in the upcoming gaming console. While Sony’s Jim Ryan already announced that the PlayStation 5 would arrive sometime in the holiday of 2020, rumors have it that it might be launched in a special PlayStation event in Feb 2020.

Between now and the holiday of 2020, expect to learn more details about Sony’s next-generation gaming console, the PlayStation 5. We might even get the release price and the exact release date of the PS5 soon.
