Pocophone F1 was a massive hit when it was introduced to the market last year. The Poco F1 is known to carry a flagship chipset at an unbelievably low price and has developed cult-like patronage that preferred value for money smartphones. While the company has not yet confirmed the existence of Pocophone F2, it appears that a new listing suggests the much-awaited smartphone iteration might arrive soon.

Popular case maker Spigen inadvertently listed a couple of cases for the unreleased Pocophone F2, reports Mashable India. The cases come in rugged armor and liquid crystal case. The rugged armor type does not say much about the upcoming smartphone, but the liquid crystal bares the device’s potential design, the site reveals.

The site used the Redmi K20 Pro as a placeholder, which triggers speculations that it might share the same design as the flagship phone from Redmi. Additionally, the description of the alleged Pocophone F2 cases mentions Pocophone F2 Pro. Surprisingly, the page that contains the cases is now unavailable at the case maker’s official website.

Earlier reports were suggesting that Xiaomi might be planning to terminate the brand. This was followed by reports of some executives responsible for the release of Pocophone F1 leaving the company. However, Pocophone India denied these and claimed that the Pocophone F2 might arrive soon.

Earlier in 2019, Xiaomi launched the flagship series Redmi K20 running on Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC with 8GB RAM. Rumors have it that the Pocophone F2 might house the newer Snapdragon 855 Plus SoC. Since Xiaomi and Pocophone have not confirmed anything related to this leak, fans will just have to wait a little longer.

Pocophone’s rival RealMe is anticipated to launch its first flagship phone in India in Nov. 2019. Considering that both brands are directly competing with each other, there is a high chance that the Pocophone F2 actually exists. It can be recalled that a Twitter post from a Xiaomi executive earned a lot of speculations, including a possible Nov. 2019 release date of the Pocophone F2.

The alleged Pocophone F2 cases posted at Spigen’s official website could be just a placeholder. It is in no way an indication that the Pocophone F2 is actually arriving soon. But, Spigen could have let it stay that way.
