Players who remember a certain “Pokemon” title that was announced years ago would be happy to know that the game is already available in a certain country and will soon make its way to iOS and Android devices in other places as well.

“Pokemon Rumble Rush,” the latest entry in the “Pokemon Rumble” series of games, is now available for download from the Australian Play Store.

Nintendo announced this mobile game as “PokeLand” in 2017, but it was quickly forgotten by many as it went under the radar. Fast forward to 2019, it has been renamed “Pokemon Rumble Rush,” and is already available for Aussie players, Eurogamer noted.

Pokemon Rumble Rush” is a combat-focused game that’s actually a spin-off of the original “Pokemon” games. It puts players in command of chibi “Pokemon” as they beat other “Pokemon” in the game.

Kotaku reported that “Pokemon Rumble Rush” is a very simple “Pokemon” game. Like in other “Pokemon” titles, players will travel from place to place to gather “Pokemon” while fighting against “Pokemon” in various locations.

Gameplay is very simple. Players will choose an island to go to. Once there, their “Pokemon” will make its way through the island, but will be blocked by enemy “Pokemon.” Players can attack these enemies by tapping on them

Each location features a level boss which, not surprisingly, is also a “Pokemon,” albeit with a larger size. Before players can face a level boss, however, they will need to meet certain requirements like owning a certain “Pokemon” or reaching a certain Combat Power (CP) level.

Players who defeat level bosses with their “Pokemon” will be rewarded with coins, the “Pokemon” they automatically captured on their way to the level boss, and a very important item called “Ore.”

Ores are little stone bits that are used to enhance their “Pokemon.” Once refined, ores can enhance a “Pokemon’s” stats or increase their CP, which, as mentioned above needs to be increased as players progress in the game.

In addition to these items, players will also find special items called “summon stones.” By equipping a “Pokemon” with a summon stone, it will be able to call another “Pokemon” to help it in battling enemies.

“Pokemon Rumble Rush” is already available for download from the Aussie Play Store.
