India Confirms Drought as El Nino Looms

Monsoon rains will not be enough to save the country from its first drought in three years, the weather office said on Thursday as it forecast that the El Nino weather pattern should reduce rains again in the second half of the June to September season.

A German submarine was found 70 miles south of Nantucket Island after almost 70 years of sitting on the bottom of the ocean. U-550 was sunk after it torpedoed an American tanker, which led to depth charges from the USS Joyce. The crew abandoned ship and now researchers plan to tell the families of the casualties the exact location of their loved ones' resting place.

Man Injured In Ballston Beach Shark Attack Near Cape Cod In Truro, Could Be A White Shark

A man was attacked by a shark on Cape Cod's Ballston beach while he was body surfing on Monday afternoon. This 40-year-old man was believed to be about one third of a mile offshore when the whale bit him on both his legs, according to local reports. He was rushed to the Cape Cod Hospital immediately and was then transferred to the Massachusetts general hospital in Boston later during the day.
