Power Angela Ghost
Can Angela (Lela Loren) and Jamie's (Omari Hardwick) relationship survive Season 2 of "Power"? Starz

Season 2 of “Power” is getting even more complicated. Fans of the Starz drama have been closely following the love triangle of Jamie (Omari Hardwick), Tasha (Naturi Naughton) and Angela (Lela Loren). Whether you’re Team Tasha or Team Angela, the many twists and turns on the series make it hard to figure out what’s coming next. But one thing is certain – someone is going to end up hurt.

The International Business Times spoke to actresses Naturi Naughton and Lela Loren at the 2015 ATX Television Festival earlier this month. Although their characters are in competition with each other on-screen, both stars revealed that they can agree on one thing – Omari Hardwick’s character, Jamie/ Ghost, is sexy.

“I think what people are attracted to is this feeling of agency and doing things because you’re passionate about them,” Loren explained about Angela’s feelings for Jamie. “Not necessarily pleasing someone for the sake of pleasing. Like Greg has a lot of pleasing behaviors, but isn’t necessarily attractive versus someone like Ghost, who’s like, ‘this is what I’m going to do and this is why I’m going to do it.’”

And Naughton agreed. “Ghost is such a man,” she chimed in.

But Jamie’s attractiveness is not the issue at hand in Season 2 of “Power.” It’s his “extra-curricular activities” that is the problem. As Naughton explained, Tasha knows everything about Jamie and his involvement in the drug industry. “I married him,” she said of her character. The twist is that Angela, a federal prosecutor, doesn’t know that the mysterious drug dealer that she’s searching for is actually her married boyfriend.

“The question is, when Angela finds out just how bad Ghost is, what’s going to happen?” Loren teased. “Can her love for Ghost survive that?”

The latest season of “Power” is three episodes deep, and those three episodes managed to further muddle Jamie’s relationship with the two women. After having sex with Tasha in episode 2, he promised that he wouldn’t be seeing Angela during his business trip to Miami. However, episode 3 turned Jamie’s Miami trip into a business/ romantic destination with his mistress. But the time away didn’t help the pair grow closer. Angela finally told Ghost her real occupation, and revealed that she’s investigating his best friend and business partner, Tommy (Joe Sikora). She wants to protect Jamie and his businesses – but that involves Jamie testifying against Tommy.

What comes next for the two? “Power” fans will have to tune into episode 4 next week to find out.
