The jackpots for Powerball and Mega Millions have grown to sizable amounts following the latest drawings. The Powerball jackpot is currently worth an estimated $113 million with a cash value of $80 million. The next drawing will take place on Wednesday night.

The most recent drawing took place on Saturday and featured a jackpot of $101 million with a cash option of $71.3 million. The winning numbers were 26, 40, 41, 55, 65, with a red Powerball of 24. The Power Play was 2X.

No instant millionaires resulted from the latest Powerball drawing, but plenty of other smaller monetary prizes resulted from the latest drawing.

There were 14 players who hit the Match 4 plus red Power Ball, winning $50,000 each. However, two of those players hit the Match 4 plus red Power Ball with a Power Play, winning $100,000.

The next Mega Millions drawing will take place Tuesday night. The jackpot will be worth an estimated $82 million with a $57.7 million cash value.

The latest Mega Millions drawing took place on Friday and had a $72 million jackpot with a $50.6 million cash option. The winning numbers were 8, 31, 32, 34, 45. The gold Mega Ball was 19 and the Megaplier was 2X.

Unlike the latest Powerball game, two Mega Millions players became instant millionaires following the latest drawing. A player in California and another one in North Carolina hit the Match 5, winning $1 million each.

Lottery winners have the option of receiving their grand prize through a one-time lump sum payment or an annuity.

Those who select the annuity would receive one immediate payment followed by 29 annual payments, increasing by 5% each year until the final payment is made.
