The company said on Monday that a clinical trial of its investigational compound ipilimumab has met the primary endpoint of improving overall survival in previously-untreated patients with metastatic melanoma.

Netflix Inc. (NASDAQ:NFLX) shares gained 3.49 percent to $220.26 in pre-market trading session. The company stock was upgraded to “outperform” rating from “neutral” rating at Credit Suisse. The company is among the top ten companies hiring this week, according to AOL Jobs.

Aflac Inc. (NYSE:AFL) shares gained 3.16 percent to $54.19 in pre-market trading session. The stock has a 52 week low of $39.91 and 52 week high of $59.54 and has $24.70 billion market capitalization.

Verizon Communications Inc. (NYSE:VZ) shares advanced 1.48 percent to $37.00 in pre-market trading session.

Nordstrom Inc. (NYSE:JWN) shares gained 1.47 percent to $42.92 in pre-market trading session. The company stock was upgraded to “buy” rating from “neutral” rating at Goldman Sachs.

Akamai Technologies Inc. (NASDAQ:AKAM) shares gained 1.4 percent to $36.89 in pre-market trading session. The company stock was upgraded to “buy” rating from “neutral” rating at Merriman.

Wynn Resorts Ltd. (NASDAQ:WYNN) shares advanced 1.43 percent to $123.50 in pre-market trading session.

Frontier Communications Corp. (NYSE:FTR) shares declined 2.61 percent to $7.85 in pre-market trading session.
