Ford Motor Co. (NYSE:F) shares advanced 1.19 percent to $15.26 in pre-market trading session. The company said on Friday that its President and CEO Alan Mulally made about $1.7 million through a stock option that is scheduled to expire on August 31 if not used.

Caterpillar Inc. (NYSE:CAT) shares gained 1.10 percent to $107.50 in pre-market trading session after Morgan Stanley said that the fundamentals of CAT remain strong.

Sandisk Corp. (NASDAQ:SNDK) shares advanced 1.2 percent to $47.05 in pre-market trading session. The stock has a 52 week low of $33.03 and 52 week high of $53.60 and has $11.08 billion market capitalization.

NYSE Euronext (NYSE:NYX) shares plunged 10.98 percent to $36.40 in pre-market trading session after NASDAQ OMX Group and IntercontinentalExchange (ICE) announced that they are withdrawing the joint proposal they made in April, 2011 to acquire NYSE Euronext and will not commence the exchange offer to acquire all of the outstanding shares of NYSE Euronext.

Lowes Companies Inc. (NYSE:LOW) shares declined 5.47 percent to $24.35 in pre-market trading session as its fiscal 2011 earnings fell short of expectations. The company expects fiscal 2011 earnings to be in the range of $1.56 to $1.64 per share against analysts’ estimation of $1.70 per share.

Advanced Micro Devices Inc. (NYSE:AMD) shares declined 2.81 percent to $8.65 in pre-market trading session.
