Jurgen Klopp, who in no time has become very popular among the other managers in the Premier League, once again proved why fans admire the German so much.

Liverpool star defender Virgil van Dijk recently revealed that Klopp has urged his boys to stay grounded despite being eight points clear on the top of the points table.

The Reds boosted their chance of winning the title last week when they conquered the reigning champions with a 3-1 win. Liverpool are aiming to remain unbeaten in the ongoing 2019-20 season as they are set to head to London, after the international break, to take on Crystal Palace.

Revealing what Klopp told the Liverpool players, ahead of the Palace fixture, Van Dijk said, "Of course I can sense how much winning the title is spoken about. For our fans, winning the championship has been way too long, so they place the Premier League title now above everything. No competition is more important than this one, but we need to keep the fever outside. Klopp tells us every week, ‘Focus on the next match’. We are doing alright, but it is only November. The hardest months of football are still waiting."

Ahead of their next match in the league, Klopp has major concerns of availability of as many as five players, out of which four are regular starters.

Salah, who picked up an ankle issue against Leicester, aggravated that last week at Anfield when he scored in Liverpool's victory over Manchester City. He has been given an extended period to recover and is not sure if he would play against Crystal Palace on Saturday. He even missed Egypt's matches during the international break.

Left-back Andy Robertson also pulled out of the Scotland squad for their final Euro 2020 qualifiers. Coincidentally, he also has an ankle issue and has not trained for nearly two weeks now.

The duo of Joe Gomez and Liverpool skipper Jordan Henderson also withdrew from England's squad this Saturday due to their respective injuries and health problems.

Meanwhile, Liverpool could go on the backfoot if Van Dijk failed to play against Palace. He recently withdrew from the Netherlands squad ahead of their upcoming European Championship qualifier against Estonia citing personal reasons. Hence, there is no confirmation if he would be available on Saturday or not.
