What does the commander in chief do on his vacation? Play golf.

U.S. President Barack Obama was spotted hitting the green Saturday at Martha’s Vineyard with former President Bill Clinton ahead of a birthday celebration for civil rights activist and American businessman Vernon Jordan, Reuters reported. Jordan, a mutual friend of Obama and Clinton, and Ron Kirk, Obama’s former trade ambassador, also were spotted on the course accompanying them.

President Obama is wrapping the first week of an annual two-week vacation with his family in the Massachusetts getaway destination.

Democratic presidential hopeful and former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton later was to join Obama and Bill Clinton for Jordan’s birthday party. But, please: no pictures. Reporters and photographers were not permitted at the event. The private party also was to be attended by political and civil rights leaders, as well as some corporate leaders, the Associated Press reported.

Obama and Bill Clinton overcame a tense relationship that stemmed from his victory over the former first lady for the Democratic nomination in 2008. Since then Bill Clinton strongly campaigned for Obama’s re-election in 2012. While Obama has complimented Hillary Clinton for her work as secretary of state, he has yet to offer her a full endorsement, Time reported.

Bill Clinton and Obama’s time on the green came as Hillary Clinton continued to fend off criticism for sending, receiving and storing official government emails on her personal server during her tenure at the State Department. Presidential hopeful Donald Trump called her use of the server “a criminal problem” during his visit to the Iowa State Fair, CNN reported.
