‘Pretty Little Liars’

It’s been months since “Pretty Little Liars” wrapped up, but the cast of the hit Freeform series recently shared some never-before-heard secrets on set.

During their appearance in Ellen DeGeneres’ new YouTube series, “Ellen’s Show Me More Show,” cast member Lucy Hale revealed a secret even her co-stars did not know about. When asked if they ever had a crush on any cast member from the series, Ashley Benson and Shay Mitchell immediately admitted to having a crush on Nolan North. The actor played the role of Spencer’s (Troian Bellisario) dad, Mr. Hastings.

Hale hesitated to name her Season 1 crush and even whispered his name to Benson, who was sitting beside her. But after being pressed for a couple of seconds, she finally admitted to having a crush on Ian Harding in Season 1.

In the series, Hale’s Aria and Harding’s Fitz got into a relationship with each other. After struggling towards the end of the series, the two finally decided that they were meant to spend the rest of their lives with each other. Aria and Fitz tied the knot in the Season 7 finale.

Meanwhile, the hilarious interview also featured “Dancing With the Stars” Season 25 contestant Sasha Pieterse, who played the role of Alison. When the cast members were asked if they ever lied about their age, Pieterse said “yes” just so she could get into clubs. Bellisario claimed that her co-star also lied to her about her age when she joined the series.

But Pieterse clarified that she didn’t lie that she was 12 when she was cast in “Pretty Little Liars.” It just so happened that none of her co-stars asked her so she didn’t feel the need to tell them.

Other questions that were asked included if they have ever made an assistant cry. Mitchell said that she has made her assistant cry, but in a good way. The assistant quickly replied that Mitchell wasn’t telling the truth, and the actress jokingly asked her assistant if she wanted the job.

Meanwhile, Pieterse and Janel Parrish will be starring in the upcoming “Pretty Little Liars” spinoff, “Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists” on Freeform sometime next year.
