Prince Andrew just shared an adorable throwback photo with his family via his Twitter account.

In the black and white snap, Queen Elizabeth is carrying Prince Edward in her arms while sitting beside Prince Philip. The doting parents are looking at their youngest child adoringly. Prince Charles is standing behind the Duke of Edinburgh and Her Majesty, and he has a glum look while staring at his younger brother.

Princess Anne, who has obvious similarities with the Queen, is sitting on the armrest of the sofa and grinning from ear to ear. She seems to be also looking at her younger brother with love in her eyes.

But it was Prince Andrew that stole the show in the picture that was published on the royal family’s official Christmas card in 1964. At that time, he was just 4 years old, but he managed to capture the hearts of everyone by looking straight into the camera. Prince Andrew is wearing a shirt and shorts in the snap, and he also has a huge smile on his face.

“#TBT: Featuring a 4-year-old Duke of York, this photograph from the Royal Collection (@RCT) was used as the @RoyalFamily’s #ChristmasCard in 1964,” the photo was captioned.

Fans who saw the royal family’s photo couldn’t help but comment positively on the snap. One of them said that the delightful picture is a lovely piece of history. Another fan called the group photo cute, and another fan said that the photo is great.

In related news, Prince Andrew also made headlines this week after his relationship with ex-wife Sarah Ferguson was revisited. According to Vanity Fair, Princess Diana was the one who introduced Ferguson to Prince Andrew during the Royal Ascot in 1985. One year later, they decided to tie the knot.

Three years after their wedding, Prince Andrew and Ferguson welcomed their eldest daughter, Princess Beatrice. Princess Eugenie was born in 1990. In 1992, the Duchess of York was involved in a toe-sucking scandal that ended her marriage to Prince Andrew. In 1996, their divorce was finalized.

Despite their split, Prince Andrew and Ferguson have maintained an amicable relationship with each other.
