  • The royal was described as a "daring lover" and a "sex addict"

Prince Andrew's alleged former flames described the disgraced royal as a “sex addict” and a “daring lover,” a bombshell book claims.

Ian Halperin, an investigative journalist and no. 1 New York Times bestselling author, said he spoke to more than 12 women who had been intimate with Prince Andrew for his upcoming book, “Sex, Lies and Dirty Money by the World’s Powerful Elite.” He revealed that the ladies described him as a “perfect gentleman” and maintained that their encounters were consensual, Page Six reported.

“One woman said he was a very daring lover: there were no limits to where he would go in bed … She told me, ‘Andrew rocked my world in the bedroom,’ but she felt disappointed because after that … she didn’t hear from him again,” Halperin said.

Another alleged ex-lover told the author that Prince Andrew had a “sex addiction because he was always second to Prince Charles.” According to the unnamed woman, the Duke of York had always compared his relationship with his older brother to that of Princes Harry and William.

“He compared his relationship with his brother … to William and Harry. William is looked at as royal material, just like Charles, whereas he and Harry were the bad boys … This led to his playboy lifestyle,” the woman said.

Since Prince Andrew didn’t get the attention he wanted, “it made him feel special to get these beautiful women in his bed,” his alleged former lover continued.

The author said he didn’t find any proof that he slept with a minor. However, Halperin alleged that Jeffrey Epstein and Prince Andrew were friends because the disgraced financier introduced him to women. He also claimed that the royal had a fascination for redheads so the convicted sex offender would ask his scouts to look for “the most beautiful redheads” in the streets.

“Sex, Lies and Dirty Money by the World’s Powerful Elite” is set to be released Thursday, Sept. 24.

Prince Andrew previously opened up about his friendship with Epstein, who took his own life last year while awaiting trial for child sex trafficking charges, in a 2019 interview with BBC's “Newsnight.”

“The people that I met and the opportunities that I was given to learn, either by him or because of him, were actually very useful,” he said at the time.

During the interview, the royal also denied ever having sex with Virginia Roberts, who alleged that she was forced to have sex with the prince when she was 17.

In November 2019, Prince Andrew announced that he was stepping back from royal duties for the “foreseeable future.”

Halperin is a former winner of the Rolling Stone magazine Award for Investigative Journalism and wrote the 2009 book, “Unmasked: The Final Years of Michael Jackson.” His works include “Fire and Rain: The James Taylor Story,” “Celine Dion: Behind the Fairytale” and “Who Killed Kurt Cobain?”
