Prince Andrew will be attending Princess Beatrice’s royal wedding.

Just recently, Princess Beatrice’s wedding date was announced. The next royal bride will be walking down the aisle on May 20 in what was described as a “private affair.”

Following the announcement, the Duke of York’s attendance was also confirmed, New Idea reported. Prince Andrew will also take part in the royal wedding after missing Princess Beatrice’s engagement due to the Epstein scandal that has been plaguing him for months.

Prior to the announcement, there were rumors that the duke might not attend his daughter’s big day. According to an insider, Princess Beatrice was thinking of not inviting the controversial royal to her special day.

“Bea is seriously considering not inviting her father to the wedding because of all the Epstein drama. It’s all such a messy and disgraceful affair and Bea hates that her father is tied up in it all and she doesn’t want that drama ruining her wedding,” the source said.

Another insider claimed that Princess Beatrice “tearfully” told her father about the sad news. Princess Eugenie’s sister allegedly told her father that she didn’t want him to walk her down the aisle or at her wedding.

Prior to the recent update about Princess Beatrice’s wedding, there were reports that she was furious due to the delay of her royal wedding. She was reportedly forced to put off her wedding announcement due to the royal scandals.

The royal family faced various controversies from Prince Andrew’s Epstein scandal to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s decision to resign from their royal roles. Shortly after that, the palace gave an update about the upcoming wedding. A source said that the Queen wanted the members of the royal family to put a united front at the upcoming fathering.

“The press officers of all the palaces hope to portray the Beatrice wedding as the big event that brings the family back together again. Aides know this will be a tough job, but it’s all they can do not just to save the wedding, but potentially the monarchy’s reputation,” the source said.
