Princess Beatrice reportedly told her father Prince Andrew that he is banned from her royal wedding.

There are rumors that the next royal bride doesn’t want her father to attend her big day due to a recent scandal involving him. According to an insider, Princess Beatrice already told the Duke of York that he is not invited to her wedding.

“In a heartbreaking phone call, she tearfully told Andrew she that she didn’t want him walking her down the aisle or at her wedding,” a source claimed.

“She was so thrilled when [fiance] Edoardo proposed. Now she’s down in the dumps over the shame and backlash caused by her father.”

This isn’t the first time rumors swirled that Prince Andrew will not be invited to Princess Beatrice’s special day. In August, an insider told New Idea that the bride-to-be is “seriously considering” not inviting her father to her nuptials because of the controversy her father is facing. Prince Andrew’s connection to convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein reportedly haunts him.

“Bea is seriously considering not inviting her father to the wedding because of all the Epstein drama. It’s all such a messy and disgraceful affair and Bea hates that her father is tied up in it all and she doesn’t want that drama ruining her wedding,” the source said.

One should take the report with a grain of salt unless the palace can confirm it. Martin Robinson of Daily Mail said earlier that Princess Beatrice’s engagement is a rare piece of good news for the duke. Despite the scandal, it is still likely that Prince Andrew will play a huge role in the upcoming royal wedding. He might even be given the honor of walking his daughter down the aisle on her big day.

In related news, Meghan Markle’s fans questioned the timing of the announcement of Princess Beatrice’s engagementn because it was done while the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were in South Africa for an official tour. Some said that the newly engaged royal stole Markle’s thunder. However, some netizens didn’t agree.

According to one royal follower, Prince Harry and Markle were working in Africa. Their royal tour was not a major life event but part of their job as working royals, so it would be unreasonable to hold the engagement announcement just because the Sussexes were working.
