Prince Charles’ adorable childhood photos have just been released ahead of the future king’s 70th birthday.

Event colorized some of Prince Charles’ black and white photos and one of them showed the young Prince Charles posing in front of the camera with a much younger Princess Anne.

In another snap, Queen Elizabeth II is carrying Prince Charles in her arms while the future King is wearing a blue attire. A third picture shows a chubby looking Prince Charles sitting inside his crib while Her Majesty looks on.

As an infant, Prince Charles also received a cute bunny stuffed toy, and he was photographed reaching it. When he got a bit older, Prince Charles resembled Prince George. In one of the snaps, he’s wearing an all-green ensemble with black boots.

He once again looked like Prince George in another photo that shows him cuddling with a brown teddy bear. One photo shows the Queen guiding her son’s hands while he’s holding a vintage camera. The Queen is wearing a beautiful yellow dress, while Prince Charles is wearing a green jumper in the picture.

In 1953, Prince Charles was photographed saluting while at the Trooping the Colour. His photo was uploaded side by side with Prince George’s snap doing the same gesture in this year’s Trooping the Colour.

Three years later, Prince Charles attended the Royal Windsor Horse Show with the Queen and Princess Anne. He was photographed reading through the rules of showjumping that is being held by Her Majesty.

At the age of 17, Prince Charles was photographed arriving in Kingston, Jamaica, with Princess Anne, 14, ahead of the Commonwealth Games. Prince Charles played his first ever polo match on that trip, and he sported a regal Number 1 shirt at the event.

Another cute photo of Prince Charles shows him at the age of 11 looking dotingly at his newborn brother Prince Andrew. Prince Charles was allowed to depart his school and was snuck into the Buckingham Palace’s side door to be met by his dad, Prince Philip, and younger sister, Princess Anne.

At the age of 15, Prince Charles was also photographed walking one of his mom’s corgi’s at the Euston station in Balmoral.
