Prince Charles has multiple medals of combat despite not fighting in a single war.

According to Carly Read, a journalist for Express, the Prince of Wales was a recipient of nine military medals even if he never actually fought a single war. Prince Charles served as a general in the Army, an admiral in the Navy and an air chief marshal in the RAF.

The publication noted that unlike Prince Harry and Prince Philip, Prince Charles collection of medals was given to him without him actually experiencing a combat. Among Prince Charles medals are Order of Merit, Order of the Bath, Queen's Service Order, Queen's Coronation medal, Queen's Silver Jubilee medal and Golden Jubilee medal to name a few.

The netizens were not pleased with the Prince of Wales's recognition. A number believed that those who fight and died for the country deserve it more. They even find it "disgusting" and "disgraceful."

"Absolute disgrace to the people that where there and to those that died. We all laughed when the African leaders wore medals and didn't serve. Disgraceful," Ronnie Bates wrote.

"Shameful, and a kick in the teeth to real veterans who took an active role in military combat, especially those who made the ultimate sacrifice," another user posted.

"Disgusting sense of entitlement, wearing medals created for and awarded to real military ppl who fight and sometimes die and this family wonder why they're despised," AKA. MT Pokkits wrote.

"It's ok when your mum is the boss. Somehow unfair though with many veterans who served years during the Cold War on operations where their days were short or your dates our out for jubilee medals not years just dates no even a #NDM issued Charles my get one though you never know," another user commented.

In related news, Prince Charles denied his affair with Camilla Parker Bowles in a past interview that has resurfaced. According to the second-in-line to the throne, he tried to be faithful to Princess Diana.

However, according to body language expert, Judi James, although Prince Charles appeared calm there were signs of anxiety, annoyance and guilt. The Prince of Wales was reportedly impatient and annoyed when asked about his marital affair.
