Prince Harry received flak after his surprise appearance on BBC's "Strictly Come Dancing" because for some netizens, it only showed that he is desperate for attention.

Prince Harry made an appearance on the British dance competition TV show to cheer and support his close pal JJ Chalmers. However, many disapproved of the Duke of Sussex's move. Some netizens took to Twitter and criticized Meghan Markle's husband.

"Trying to stay relevant," one commented.

"He desperate for attention," another wrote with a smiling face with open mouth and cold sweat emoji.

"#Harry missing the lime light huh," a different user added.

"Anything to divert attention from the disastrous US Military cemetery photo shoot! Disgusting piece of propaganda. Not done on Remembrance Day. Used 2 CW vets as excuse to traipse thru cemetery w/US headstones as props & then they sold the images! The families should charge them," another commented.

Meanwhile, many also came to Prince Harry’s defense because for them, he only made the appearance to support his pal. Chalmers is a former Marine and Prince Harry’s good pal.He even volunteered for the royal’s Invictus Games.

The netizens also noticed what Prince Harry's appearance meant for the two veterans. For them, they had an “authentic interaction.”

"You can tell this meant a lot for the both of them.....the British tabloids would want you to think that the entirety of the UK has gone against him for renouncing his role as a working royal and moving to the US but that clearly isn't the case. Those who know him, *know* him," one wrote.

"I just love Harry his warmth generosity authenticity and commitment to veterans," another fan added.

"It was lovely to see Harry cheering on JJ & you could see this meant a lot to them both. Invictus has had a massive affect on so many injured veterans lives. I'm so proud of Harry & JJ & so pleased permission was given for his uniform for this," @JacyCraw wrote.

Many also praised Prince Harry's look because he looked better, according to them. Several netizens said the duke looked "genuinely happy and relaxed."
