Prince Harry, Meghan Markle Reportedly ‘Fearful’ Of Their Unknown Future After Megxit

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are reportedly fearful of the unknown after their exit from the royal family become official at the end of the month.

While speaking with Access Hollywood, royal commentator Omid Scobie said that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have no idea what’s in store for them post-Megxit, and this is quite scary.

Specifically, for the “Suits” alum, saying goodbye to her staff wasn’t just a sad ending for the relationship that she has built for them; it’s also a sad ending to her life as a royal. Markle was only a senior member of the royal family for 10 months.

“The emotions were really heightened and there were tears and hugs. I think for Meghan she really appreciates the work that this very small team, that has become like a family to the couple, have done for them. They helped them fend off attacks from the tabloids and helped them organize tours and the amazing engagements. It is that team that makes all of that happen, ” Scobie said.

The royal commentator went on to say that leaving everything behind is probably leaving Prince Harry and Markle a sense of fear especially since they will be working with an entirely new group of people post-Megxit. Their new work dynamics would require a little getting used to.

Meanwhile, Scobie also shared his thoughts on why he thinks Prince Harry and Markle really decided to quit the royal family for good. In their previous statement, the royal couple said that they were simply stepping down from their royal duties.

“While they may be making sacrifices of their own, they are losing a lot of privileges as non-working members of the Royal Family. Harry gave up his honoree military titles which have probably been the toughest pill to swallow for them. This decision has definitely revolved around Archie, keeping him safe, keeping him away from the toxic forces in their life. Particularly the British tabloids, that has really been key. Ultimately, they are all doing this for Archie and they hope in the long run it will provide the safe surrounding they have always wanted,” he said.
