Prince Harry is still single, but he does have some concerns for his future girlfriend. The royal bachelor, 31, opened up about his dating life and lack of privacy in a new interview, revealing that he has “massive paranoia” about his future belle having to deal with public scrutiny.

“If or when I do find a girlfriend, I will do my utmost … to ensure that me and her can get to the point where we’re actually comfortable with each other before the massive invasion that is inevitably going to happen into her privacy,” he told the Sunday Times (via People magazine).

Prince Harry said his other concern about dating is that whenever he even talks to a girl, it’s automatically assumed that she’s his “wife,” and “people go knocking on her door.”

The British royal hasn’t publicly dated anyone since his 2014 split from Cressida Bonas. According to the outlet, his single status isn’t necessarily his own choosing. “There is very little private life,” he explained. “I’m not putting work before the idea of a family, marriage and all that kind of stuff. To be fair, I haven’t had that many opportunities to get out there and meet people.”

He continued, “At the moment, my focus is very much on work. But if someone slips into my life, then that’s absolutely fantastic.”

As previously reported, rumors surfaced last month that Prince Harry was secretly dating former fashion designer Juliette Labelle. OK! Magazine reported that the pair met during a visit to Los Angeles earlier this year, but Gossip Cop busted the report as false. He was also rumored to be romantically linked to Kate Middleton’s sister, Pippa Middleton, but that also turned out to be untrue.
