Prince Harry returned to Canada just in time before the coronavirus lockdown in the country and netizens find it fishy.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex traveled back to the U.K. a few weeks back to carry out their final engagements as senior members of the royal family. They also joined Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Charles, Camilla Parker Bowles, Prince William and Kate Middleton during the Commonwealth Day service.

Markle reportedly returned to Canada after the ceremony. Meanwhile, her husband stayed for a few more days in the U.K. to attend some meetings but he flew to Canada just in time before Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced a lockdown in the country. Online users suspected Prince Harry’s perfect timing, Express reported.

One speculated that Trudeau waited for the Duke of Sussex to return before announcing that he will close the borders in Canada. The netizen alleged that Markle was in control over Trudeau’s decision.

“Not at all fishy! @JustinTrudeau closes Canadian border within minutes of #JustHarry arriving. Obviously #MeghanMarkle was in control of that decision,” one netizen claimed.

“So absolutely suspect that #JustHarry made it to Canada in the ‘nick of time’. @JustinTrudeau knew he had to wait to close the borders to non-citizens or #MeghanMarkle would have released whatever it is she is blackmailing him with,” the same user added.

Meanwhile, another claimed that Prince Harry flew via a private plane to Canada. However, that wasn’t true since according to Hello Magazine!, Prince Harry was spotted on a commercial flight with his security team traveling to Victoria International Airport on Thursday.

Trudeau has kept Canada open until Monday when he announced that he would be closing the borders in an effort to “slow the spread of the virus.”

“It is time to take every precaution to keep people safe,” he said in a press release.

Canada’s ban doesn’t apply to U.S. citizens and to the shipment of goods in the country nor to flight crews, diplomats and immediate family members of the citizens. However, those who exhibit signs of coronavirus will not be allowed to board the plane, Daily Mail reported.

Meanwhile, Trudeau’s wife Sophie was confirmed to have tested positive for coronavirus. Sophie reportedly experienced COVID-19 symptoms. The prime minister is “in good health with no symptoms,” but he would still be in isolation for up to 14 days.
