“Prince Of Persia: The Sands Of Time Remake” is probably launching on Nintendo Switch based on several indicators. The much-awaited game was announced during the latest Ubisoft Forward broadcast. The upcoming title is slated to launch on Xbox One, PC and PlayStation 4.

Talk about “Prince Of Persia: The Sands Of Time Remake” launching on Nintendo Switch started to make rounds online following the recent post on Twitter by Ubisoft’s official account. The tweet referencing the game’s release on Switch was later removed.

Interestingly, the “Prince Of Persia: The Sands Of Time Remake” official site lists the Nintendo Switch pre-order for a limited time. A few hours ago, Videogamedeals shared a screenshot of another listing showing that the game would launch on Switch. Gamestop lists that “Prince Of Persia: The Sands Of Time Remake” launching on Switch, PS4 and Xbox One is available for pre-order for $39.99.

The site also notes that the game releases in March and not in January 2021. It was in 2003 when Ubisoft launched “Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time.” The game is considered as one of the most acclaimed titles of all time. Ubisoft Pune and Ubisoft Mumbai rebuilt the original game using the studio’s innovative AnvilNext Engine.

The “Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake” is packed with new motion capture animation, gameplay adjustments for modern audiences and new assets. The upcoming game shares the same storyline and gameplay as the original game. The team assures gamers that the new game features enhanced combat system and camera controls.

Since the gaming studio has not yet confirmed if “Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake” is releasing on Nintendo Switch, it remains a rumor for now. The game arrives on January 21, 2021. It is also playable on Xbox Series XlS and PS5 through backwards compatibility.
