Prince William, Kate Middleton and Prince Harry were all busy this year but one has attended more events than the two.

The Times revealed the number of official appearances that the royals have made this year. According to the report, Meghan Markle's fiancé has 139 royal engagements this year. Prince Harry outnumbered Prince William and Middleton with his 139 domestic engagements and 70 official appearances abroad.

Meanwhile, the Duke of Cambridge made 117 appearances in the U.K. and 54 overseas. On the other hand, the Duchess of Cambridge had 64 domestic royal engagements and 42 abroad.

Middleton was suffering from hyperemesis gravidarum and missed a number of royal engagements. In fact, when the palace announced her pregnancy, they also explained that she would be missing her engagement on that day due to severe morning sickness.

On the other hand, Prince Charles made 374 engagements in the U.K. and 172 abroad. Meanwhile, Queen Elizabeth II had 296 official appearances.

According to The Times, the busiest royal this year is Princess Anne. She made a total of 455 appearances at charity events, dinners, receptions and other engagements in the country. She also attended 85 events abroad.

Although Prince William, Middleton and Prince Harry have different royal engagements, there were also times when the royal trio reunited for the same event. For instance, the three hosted a secret gala in November.

The palace did not announce the special dinner. However, some guessed shared their invitation on social media. The gathering banned the use of mobile phones and guests were required to wear lounge suit and a cocktail dress.

The three royals also joined forces in October to celebrate the World Mental Health Day. Prince William, Middleton and Prince Harry honored all the people who are working in the mental health sector across the U.K. All three are active mental health advocates. The said gathering was Middleton's first appearance after she took a break from her royal engagements due to hyperemesis gravidarum.

This year, Prince William, Middleton and Prince Harry's Royal Foundation has found its hashtag. They already applied to trademark the hashtag "#stopspeaksupport."

This has been a busy year for the royal trio. In fact, in October, they announced that they are looking for a senior communications officer. The position is a full-time role with fixed term and maternity cover contract.
